Sign Install – Cohuna

Heritage Plaques Install, May 2013. Cohuna is a small town in the north of Victoria, about 3 hours from Melbourne. The local Historical Society had extensively researched the current and previous uses of the buildings and building lots around the centre of town. A plaque was made for each of the buildings (56 of them) with a photo and brief history. The plaques were made from vitreous enamel coated steel from Glass Metal Industries. The plaques were installed on a variety of surfaces, brick, stone, concrete, tile and stainless steel. Each had 4 pins on the reverse side – corresponding holes were drilled in the substrate. They were adhered into place using a combination of two part epoxy and polyurethane. The job including travel took two full days.
